We are seeking a Full Time, Cabling Installation Technician, to install Cat 5E, Cat 6, 6A, Fiber Optic and coax cabling.

Seeking experienced, well-organized and take charge type of people to perform cabling installation and service of Cat 5E, Cat 6, 6A, Fiber Optic, AV and coax cabling. Individuals should be mechanically inclined, organized, have good communication & troubleshooting skills with experience in field installations.

Direct Hire or Contract to Hire

To be considered for Security Systems Installation Technician:
Must have a minimum of one to years’ experience in the installation of Cat 5E, Cat 6, 6A, Fiber Optic, and coax cabling with good troubleshooting skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record.
Must have a high School Education

Cabling Installation Technician Responsibilities include:
Responsible for timely, on-budget installations of projects.
Perform closet buildouts, cabling installation, terminations, testing and certifications.
Experience with Fiber terminations, OTDR, Fiber testing equipment a plus.
Complete daily assignments and work orders as scheduled in professional manner.

Cabling Installation Technician Requirements:
Must have a good understanding of work orders, products, and blueprints to determine service and repair of all cabling systems.
Have an understanding of how to test and certify with proper test equipment and make necessary repairs if needed.
Must have good troubleshooting, diagnostic skills and ability to solve system problems and failures.
Must ensure work is in accordance with applicable codes and standard practices.
Able to work well with others in a team atmosphere.
Willing to travel.
Willing to work outside or inside in all weather when needed.
OSHA 10 certification a plus.
Scissor and Boom Lift certification a plus.

We are seeking a Full Time, Security Systems Installation Technician, to install and troubleshoot security, IP surveillance, CCTV and Card Access Control Systems.
Seeking experienced, well-organized, and take charge type of people to perform system installation and service of Access Control and Video Surveillance. Individuals should be computer literate, mechanically inclined, organized, have good communication & troubleshooting skills with experience in field installations.

Direct Hire or Contract to Hire

To be considered for Security Systems Installation Technician:
Must have a minimum of two to years’ experience in the installation of security and card access systems, with good troubleshooting skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and be eligible for security clearance.
Must have a high School Education

Security Systems Installation Technician Responsibilities include:
Responsible for timely, on-budget installations of projects.
Provide panel terminations, start-up and testing of access control systems.
Will install and repair access control systems and related equipment, such as CCTV and Card Access control systems.
Experience with S2/Lenel, Open Options, Axis, Paxton, Keyscan, and Exacq Vision systems a plus, programming a plus.
Complete daily assignments and work orders as scheduled in a professional manner.

Security Systems Installation Technician Requirements:
Must have a good understanding of work orders, products, and blueprints to determine service and repair of security systems.
Have an understanding of Contacts, access control operability, and ability to use and understand a volt meter.
Ability to program security systems and related equipment is a plus, and knowledge of the operation of control panels.
Must have good troubleshooting, diagnostic skills, and ability to solve system problems and failures.
Must ensure work is in accordance with applicable codes and standard practices.
Able to do system turnover to customers, including training.
Willing to travel.
Providing onsite service during and after normal business hours.
OSHA 10 certification a plus.
Scissor and Boom Lift certification a plus.

What does a Systems Integration Specialist (SIS) do?
With today’s ever-evolving technology, there is a larger need to truly serve our customers from the networking, software, firmware, and app side of the systems experience. As the SIS you will be the supporting team member to ensure the software side of installed systems are working and communicating with customers' PCs, Phones, Apps and integrated partners. Assist with the start-up of new equipment or system installations and adjust as needed to ensure the system is operational post-install. To perform scheduled and/or routine preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and equipment to ensure they are in working order & meet and exceed customer expectations. But most of all, to ensure that our customers have an overall great experience with the systems we have provided for them.

A few requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Two (2) Years’ experience in a technology-based field.
Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
Strong communication skills.
Basic understanding of network Infrastructure and addressing.
A solid understanding of PC basics.
Microsoft office software familiarity.
Working expertise with handheld devices, such as Smartphones, iPads, etc.
Ability to effectively communicate, educate & coordinate with customers and team members.

Associates degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong Networking Background and/or networking certifications.
Working knowledge of small and large Access Control and Ip Video platforms.

Salary Range 60k and up

An AV Installation Technician is someone who installs Audio Visual products or services on customer premises. They seek to solve client challenges through the products we sell. Must have strong communication skills.

AV Installation Technician Responsibilities:
Managing customer relationships and participating in the installation of the scope of work collaboration and attending client meetings
Executes high-level system installations that may include system integrations, programming and AV systems placement.
Works cohesively across multiple departments (internally/externally) to ensure that expectations and performance goals are met.
Provide technical expertise to support the design, architecture, installation and planning of audio, video and control solutions
Interfacing directly with client management and end-users, in person, by phone, &/or e-mail
Maintain and update Outlook with tasks, appointments, meetings and other event related activities
Contribute to developing standards that support the design and sales process
Demonstrating continued technical education through vendor and/or industry certifications

AV Installation Technician Requirements:
2+ years Audio Visual industry and Systems Integration experience
Demonstrated knowledge via various manufacturer or professional training and certifications (Crestron, Extron, Biamp, ClearOne, Shure, or (CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D, EAVA, CVE, DMC-E, etc.), Video conferencing or other certifications
Strong knowledge of the AV and Unified Communications markets, including complimentary products, technology, and future trends
Proven track record creating and clearly documenting AV Systems Design, (schematics, flow charts, manuals etc.),
Proven experience in strategic planning
Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) to staff, clients and colleagues in a professional and timely manner
Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities and work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
OSHA 10 certification
Valid NYS Drivers License
